Position Description

We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern for our mission-critical software for front-office trading infrastructure using C++ in a Linux environment.  As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be mentored on the business and infrastructure around systematic trading, contribute to the design of programs and systems, work with other members of the team, helping developing solutions to business problems and participate in the ongoing improvement of the software infrastructure.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Learn the business and infrastructure around systematic trading from senior peers and our vast knowledge database
  • Work on select projects contributing to our trading infrastructure
  • Design and build innovative technologies in an international sub microsecond real-time trading environment

Required Qualifications:

  • In pursuit of bachelor’s or graduate degree (or equivalent) in mathematical/technical sciences, preferably Computer Science or related degree with at least a junior status
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
  • Minimum GPA of a 3.0
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our LA office

Compensation:

  • The expected hourly rate for this internship is $40/hour
