Position Description

We are seeking a career-oriented person to serve as a member of our software development team. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based, desktop and Windows service applications. The Junior Developer will perform integration of systems and work with other members of the team to analyze, design, and develop solutions to business problems, while contributing to the ongoing improvement of the software infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Application development in ASP.NET, including .Net windows services work
  • SQL development, design of tables, queries, and stored procedures
  • Testing / deployment of UI applications to ensure high-code quality and consistent up-time 
  • Interact with subject matter experts to convert business requirements into technical specification
  • Provide support for our production systems

Compensation & Benefits:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000-$140,000. The final salary within this range will be based on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Total compensation includes the opportunity to participate in a discretionary bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Programming knowledge of .NET Framework/.NET Core using C#
  • Proficient working with IIS and the Windows operating system for software development
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mathematical/technical sciences, preferably computer-related such as Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with non-technical users
  • Experience with databases (MS SQL Server) including stored procedure development
  • Experience with Git
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our Milwaukee office #LI-Hybrid

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web application development using ASP.NET webforms, NET MVC or ASP.NET Core
  • 1-3 years recent hands-on, professional programming experience
  • Familiarity with trading desk or back-office accounting environment
  • Experience with legacy system integration
  • Software testing and validation
  • XML/JSON
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • LINQ to SQL
  • Powershell
