We are looking for an experienced front-end software architect to help develop and manage our front-end development environment and frameworks. The Front-End Software Architect will focus on framework and UI application development using React.. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Help design, develop, and maintain Crabel's front-end framework
• Help improve the front-end development experience by integrating better software management tools and practices
• Maintain and expand on common React components re-used across application domains
• Testing / deployment of UI applications to ensure high-code quality and consistent up-time 
• Own the evolving UI/UX across various applications
• Develop consistent design patterns to unify applications under a common theme
• Mentor / review code of other UI developers and contractors to ensure common code patterns

Compensation & Benefits: 

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000-$250,000. The final salary within this range will be based on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Total compensation includes the opportunity to participate in a discretionary bonus plan and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications: 

• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in mathematical/technical sciences, preferably Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of experience developing single-page applications
• 2+ years of experience in framework development using React
• Expert knowledge of React, Vite, and the React ecosystem
• Experience developing applications and APIs with Typescript
• Working knowledge of type composition with Typescript including generics, guards and inference
• Proficient working with real-time / data-driven applications
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule out of our Los Angeles office

What you will need to be successful as a Sr. Front-End Software Engineer at Crabel: 

• Up-to-date and continuing knowledge of the evolving JavaScript, React ecosystem 
• Ability to write and test components that are robust / reusable / readable 
• Ability to work with multiple developers to ensure consistency across UI applications 
• Understanding of developing against APIs in a micro-service architecture 
• Understanding Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures
