Position Description
We seek a talented, creative, and energized individual to join our firm as a DevOps Engineer. The role is a member of a growing technology team with an automation first approach. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting and implementing tools and processes that enable rapid development and software deployment. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain a modern CI/CD system to build, test, and deploy proprietary software.
Responsibilities:
- Develop CI/CD pipelines on Cloud Platforms
- Daily management of a C++ CI/CD Pipeline
- Utilize modern orchestration tools (Jenkins, Jfrog Pipelines, Ansible Tower)
- Partner with the development team to automate and reduce repetitive tasks
- Support the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevOps toolchain
- Successfully drive quality through process, instrumentation, requirements, and testing
- Build monitoring systems and alerts for improved system insights and uptime/status evaluation
- Recommend and implement new technologies
Qualifications:
- BA/BS/Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience/certification
- 2+ years of experience managing a complex Jenkins environment
- 2+ years of experience on figuring and maintaining the Jfrog platform (Artifactory, Pipelines, Xray, Distribution)
- 2+ years of experience with public cloud management (AWS, Azure)
- 3+ years of experience with Docker/Podman/Kubernetes
- 3+ years of experience architecting and managing a CI/CD pipeline
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python, Rest APIs)
- Understanding of modern security practices
